August 2018—Praise Report
We want to begin this month’s letter by saying thank you. March by far was our busiest month as far as traveling is concerned, and we are certain people were praying for us. Our schedule started us off in Florida; from there we made our way to South Carolina, Missouri, Washington, and finally Wales, United Kingdom.
While in Florida, we were blessed to be in a missions conference at the church where it all began for us—Park Street Baptist Church. During the Wednesday night service, Richie was able to share how he got saved in the pastor’s white Mazda pickup truck back in 2001. At the close of that service, a young man named Eddie came forward to accept Jesus as his personal Savior. After the services, we found out that a family in the church had bought that Mazda truck that Richie got saved in from the pastor years ago, and they still had it! It was a pretty sweet reunion. While there, we were also able to spend time with so many people who invested in us. Two of those people were Jerry and Marlene. They were our first Sunday School teachers who came by our house after we visited the church and encouraged us to attend their class.
After our time in Florida, we were blessed to be in a couple more wonderful churches for their missions conferences in South Carolina and Washington. At one of those churches, a young man named Trey trusted Christ as his personal Savior. Along with that wonderful news, we are also excited to share with counting our latest church in Washington and all the promises of financial support from the churches we have been with, we have reached our monthly support goal! Praise the Lord!
To wrap us this amazing month, Richie was able to make a quick trip to Wales to finalize some important details regarding our move there.
