Remarks From The Pastor - December 30, 2018

Good Morning Church Members & Guests

Good morning church. Today is the last Sunday of 2018 and what a year we had as a church.

On January 20, 2019, at our annual business meeting, you will enjoy hearing about the blessings of 2018 and the vision and direction I feel God is leading me to lead you in.

Senior Pastor Tom Porter

Senior Pastor Tom Porter

Now what? After the birthday celebration of Jesus is over and all the decorations have been boxed up and stored away, we need to go tell the truth that Jesus came to us to save us from our sins. The Bible says, “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”

We as a church body need to be about our Heavenly Father’s business. Treasuring Christ is something we do; not by keeping Him to ourselves but by making Him known to the whole world.

In our very love of the church we fail to give the glad tidings to the world. In our zeal for the truth we forget to publish it. When shall we all learn that the Good News needs not just to be cherished, but needs to be told? All people need to hear it.
