Remarks From The Pastor - November 25, 2018

Good Morning Church Members & Guests

Well, the turkey and side dishes are all gone, and yet our thankfulness to one another and to God should be everlasting. The problem is we tend to complain a lot and forget about the blessings. As the song goes, “Count your many blessings, name them one by one.”

Thanksgiving or complaining – these words express two contrasting attitudes found in God’s children in regard to His dealings with them. The soul that gives thanks can find comfort in everything; the soul that complains can find comfort in nothing.

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts andminds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
