Remarks From The Pastor - October 28, 2018

Good Morning Church Members & Guests

Good morning, TBC Family and Friends! To those who are visiting today, we are so pleased that you chose to worship here. It is my hope that you experience a kind reception and are blessed with the variety of music and the hearing of God’s life-changing Word.

Jesus told His followers to “Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.” – Luke 14:23

This Wednesday night, our church family will be doing two special events. Our teen Ignite group will be knocking on doors with bags filled with a New Testament, a Gospel tract, information about our various ministries, and candy. When the homeowner answers the door, our teens will say, “Tract and Treat!”

The second event will take place in front of the church building. We are calling it “Trunk or Treat”. Several of our adults will be parking their vehicles in formation with their trunks decorated for the fall season. Each driver will have candy to give to the children as well as TBC Ministry information and a Gospel tract. It is not too late to enter your vehicle in the Trunk or Treat decoration contest! Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place! There is a sign-up sheet at the Welcome Center.

We want parents and children who come on our campus to sense that our church cares for their soul. As the teens visit people at their homes and as people come to Trunk or Treat, it is our prayer that souls will read the Word of God in the Gospel tracts and receive Jesus Christ as their Savior. Please pray every day for these two outreach events!
