As we all know, there was not a church service on September 10 due to Hurricane Irma. Very litle damage was done to the church buildings. Also Praise the Lord! God blessed us with exceeding our tithe budget over $4,000.00! When God’s people obey God in their giving God blesses exceedingly and abundantly above all that we ask! One of our members, Cheryl Kelter, went to heaven this past week.

Mrs. Gordon, our school’s new administrator, is off to a great start! The teachers are doing a fine job teaching their students and her office staff is on top of it all! The Girls volleyball team beat Liberty Patriots. TCS Cheerleaders are a blessing by keeping all us fans pumped up with school spirit! We had to hire an extra teacher - welcome aboard Mrs. Stoner.

Today we will conclude the series on Nehemiah building the walls of Jerusalem through the power of prayer. Then tonight, we will put the lessons we learned about prayer together for a special service called Celebrate Life. 1st Baptst of Mims, New Fellowship Baptst and Faith Baptst will be joining us here at Temple to pray that our naton will turn from sin and seek the Lord. I know each of you will want to be a part of this!

First Chronicles 7:14 says, ”If my people, (that’s us) which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heav-en, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
